Coseincorso is been selected for the 2025 edition of the Michetti Prize, curated by Massimiliano Scuderi, presents 25 artists in the exhibition Group Shows Kill the Group.

The title, inspired by a work by Les Levine, invites reflection on the limits of traditional group exhibitions and the possibility of restoring autonomy and individual voice to each artist. The curatorial project unfolds across the Michetti Foundation and various symbolic locations in Francavilla al Mare, conceived as a constellation of independent environments. Each artist presents their own “micro-world” in dialogue with the others, creating a heterogeneous ensemble of visions ranging from installation and sculpture to painting, video, sound, and new technologies. Through its participation, Coseincorso joins a context of artistic research that explores the relationship between objects, matter, and meaning choosing the Church of San Berardino as the exhibition space.

In this installation, Coseincorso explores the boundary between form and function through an essential language of matter, poetry, and listening. Silence et lumière emerges from an act of subtraction: a few discreet elements that engage with the silence and light of the church, evoking the sacredness of veiled Madonnas and the memory of votive offerings. The ceramics, inspired by late medieval forms from Castelli and reinterpreted with local artisans, merge with modest materials such as metal, mirror, and wood, finding a quiet balance with the architecture of the space. The result is a suspended environment where objects and voids resonate, inviting contemplation and an intimate encounter with light.
